Too bad it's coming out next year, hope I won't be too busy with life to miss the sequel of this great game..

I like how IGN.com has put it: "Blizzard has finally announced the sequel to Starcraft. Not Starcraft Ghost. Not World of Starcraft. Starcraft 2, the game you put on your "Do not die until you have played..." list." lol

Haven't been able to write anything worthy for a long while. Not that I really have much worthy thing to write over here while almost everyone is gone. Our lovely petite town La Crosse is once again deserted when the summer kicks in. Long gone is the hectic school year along with all the coursework and paper. But what also left are all the parties and more importantly, our friends. After staying here for four years, I should be no stranger to this inevitable parting of ways. Friends with who we have spent so many unforgettable, lovable or even laughable moments are now nowhere to be found, making everywhere in La Crosse much like its infamous cemetery. Dead would be a precise descriptor of this kind of atmosphere. Even as seasoned as I am at this time of the year, when everyone is fleeing La Crosse, I cannot help but to let sorrow and emptiness to find their way into my heart. If I were a poet, I would write some beautiful poems to have my sorrow expressed between the lines. Or if I were a painter, I would paint some abstract paintings to have my loneliness vented by the strokes. But since I am neither, I guess I would just suck it up and find something else to dwell on.

There is no better thing to dwell on than basketball in the summer. Maybe except job-searching and preparing for GRE, but we all know those are no better in terms of fun. So I am able to pick up basketball once again. I mean really picking it up. I did play some pick-up games once for a while during the school year but there is nothing like playing it a couple days straight. Oh boy I am fatigued. Guess age finally catch up with me, or it could merely be my dwindling body condition. But neither is going to stop me from hustling every single possession. I can feel my restrained passion for the game is once again rejuvenating despite the fact that it probably would never go back to level of my good old high school days when basketball was the only thing matters. So besides playing basketball, I also started to watch basketball again and it is really about the right time. Have anyone watched Game 5 between Pistons and Cavaliers? You really did yourself a disservice if you happened to miss the game. Lebron James was simply unbeliveably fantastic. I have to say it was my belief that James was a little bit overrated. Yeah, he is exceptional at his age and he single-handedly reinvented Cavaliers, a lottery team, into a championship contender. But to be considered the best player in the league? I could name a couple more players who I think deserve the title better.  First, he is not quite a scoring machine like Kobe Bryant. Bryant is a beast and his offensive skill is so refined in every single aspect. The best player right now in the league, hands down. Second, he doesn't make his teammates better like Steve Nash. He does have quite a vision for his position, but he doesn't really bring the boost, as tangible and as powerful as those that Nash consistently dishes out, to his teammates. Also, let's face the fact, Cleveland is in the Eastern Conference where the only good team is Detroit Pistons and maybe Chicago Bulls. You might throw Miami Heat into the circle if Dwyane Wade is healthy, but even that Miami is barely a good team this year. I can imagine James would have a lot more difficulties coming out from the West.

But it was a different story last night. James really switched to another gear to join the likes of Magic, Bird and Jordan. I wouldn't even attempt to detail the game, because that would only take away what he did. There are no words, at least in my vocabulary, that are even close to describe the show that he put on. Just for your information, he made the last 25 points for Cavaliers, 29 out of the last 30 points, which include all scorings for the Cavs in the two overtimes. So go watch the highlight yourself, will ya? You will be awestruck.
